Bergfabel
Bergfabelis a word born from a union of two words : Berg meaning MOUNTAIN and Fabel..FABLE. Two words, two worlds, at first glance they are distant, the opposite, but in my story they are profoundly united : the harshness of the mountains, the harmony of a fairy tale blended together in one project.
The mountainis the foundation, the starting point : my birth place, where my parents were born and my grandparents before them. The Mountain gave us a home, food toeat, made us work hard ; it made us growup according to it slaw and tradition : Harsh, strong, and sometimes cold, but at the same time breath takingly romantic… like its scenery.
The Mountainis arduous, yet at the same time magnificent, an enchanted tale, my tale. The one I want to tell you…
A boy from the mountains that left his roots to discover the world, after a lot of upsand down she followed his vision and finally found away to transform his emotion, love and spirit.
Bergfabel in fact was born there. An inspiration from the mountains, the place from the past he wanted so desperately to leave behind, but that same place he always returned to, in order to recuperate, absorb energy, to re find the flavor to work, the perfume of passion and the colour of life. Bergfabel is a trip, a voyage of my past. Memories of my childhood, the smell of the forest, the intense blue of the sky, the colorful sounds of the street musicians, the peace, the silence and the simplicity of the nature. Bergfabel is the love I re found for my origin, aconcept, a lifestyle, a philosophy that I try to convey through my clothes.
The entire Collection is inspired by traditional costume and fabrics, from the workplace to local festive events in typical“Tirol”style. The emblematic materials are felt, wooland linen, used for over a hundred years by the Southern“Tyrolese”countrymen, and with intricate know how intertwine cotton, linen and wool.
The Collection is produced by local artisans, old craftsman experienced in traditional costume.
The techniques utilized are the same used a hundred years ago. Simple work man ship that gives each style their sincere typical traits of who creates things with love and passion… The attention and reserved accuracy to materials and the manufacturing secures each single piece a statement of elevated quality, that will last a lifetime and respects the flavour of tradition and reflects the past...of how things were made…………. once upon a time!
The Bergfabel collection is an on going process of improving sartorial techniques and fitting and using highest quality fabrics. Its purpose is not to make a completely new collection, but to build on the style of the first collection. Ever more importance is given to the selection of exclusive fabrics, which are carefully developed and improved. The aim is to create an item which is without season or time and which becomes more beautiful over time, the more it is worn. The unique fabric gives a strong character to classic pieces. The palette is compiled of navy, charcoal, black mixed with blue, and beige and navy.
Great importance is given equally to the hand made wool products and accessories. The wool comes from local sheep's of South Tyrol and it is prepared using the same traditional techniques and machinery of 100 years ago. The wool is full of lanolin, the unique healthy property of which can be appreciated only by wearing it!
It is a long tradition in South Tyrol that the women on the farm, during the winter time, would sit by the fire-place and would use the wool to make warm socks, gloves and pullovers.

FEIT
Designed by Tull Price in New York, all FEIT products are built entirely by hand from natural materials, produced in limited numbers with a carefully selected group of master craftspeople from around the world. Tull’s career in footwear began in the early 1990’s at age 18. Fascinated by the rapidly evolving idea of globalization, Tull founded a small streetwear label which eventually grew into a footwear company with global distribution. During the ten years he ran this company and especially after its sale to a public entity, Tull witnessed the shortcomings of production on a mass scale. The corporate pressure to create quarterly growth led to extreme cost-cutting, which exacerbated the existing problems inherent to mass production such as automation and the use of synthetics and toxins, leading to increased waste and landfill. FEIT was born as a reaction – an evolution of consumerism and production, moving away from volume and excess and towards quality, sustainability, and the pursuit of product integrity. Tull refers to this movement as neo luxury. To help refine this idea, Tull spent most of the next ten years studying and working in Europe, to learn from its use of traditional production techniques and its insights into capitalism and longevity – insights increasingly relevant in today’s world. FEIT products are a fusion of this dual history - the best of both athletic and classic footwear merged into a modern, minimal luxury product. For Tull, FEIT is a company in which he can be uncompromising in pursuit of his goals, adhering to a strict set of design and manufacturing principles.
